TVN 24 Online – Dua bintang Kpop dijatuhi hukuman penjara pada hari Jumat (29/11) karena memperkosa wanita mabuk. Salah satu pria juga dihukum karena membuat video serangan dan menyebarnya dengan teman-temannya secara online.
Pengadilan Distrik Pusat Seoul menghukum musisi Jung Joon Young, yang merekam dan berbagi video, selama enam tahun penjara. Temannya Choi Jong Hoon, mantan anggota Kpop boy band F.T Island, dijatuhi hukuman lima tahun.
“Terdakwa melakukan kejahatan seksual terhadap banyak perempuan, merendahkan perempuan dan memperlakukan mereka sebagai alat kesenangan seksual belaka,” kata Hakim Kang Seong Soo dalam putusannya pada hari Jumat (29/11). “Sulit untuk memahami rasa sakit yang harus diderita para korban.”
Kedua tersangka pun sudah di blacklist dari industri Kpop.
Selama persidangan mereka, kedua tersangka mengatakan bahwa tindakan seksual, yang terjadi pada tahun 2016, merupakan keputusan bersama. Dimana ini berlandaskan rasa suka sama suka. Tetapi pengadilan memutuskan bahwa para wanita itu mabuk dan tidak mampu melawan. Pengadilan belum mengatakan berapa banyak korban di sana.
Kedua tersangka diberikan waktu seminggu untuk mengajukan banding.
Polisi mulai menyelidiki masalah ini awal tahun ini. Setelah dilaporkan bahwa musisi Kpop Jung Joon Young dan teman-temannya tengah berbicara tentang membius dan memperkosa wanita dan telah berbagi video rekaman serangan secara diam-diam.

Polisi belum mengatakan siapa yang datang ke depan dengan informasi itu, mengutip peraturan yang dimaksudkan untuk melindungi para pelapor. Tetapi outlet berita Korea Selatan melaporkan bahwa itu adalah seorang pekerja di sebuah toko tempat Jung mengirim smartphone-nya dengan harapan mendapatkan kembali data yang hilang.

Dua bintang Kpop, Sulli dan Goo Hara, telah bunuh diri dalam dua bulan terakhir. Keduanya telah menjadi korban cyberbullying.
